Job Description
Join the marketing and communications team at EMC Insurance in delivering hands-on experience for the summer. A major focus of this internship is on social media management, content creation, and internal/external communication-all significant aspects that will contribute to EMC’s success.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the continuous work with the Creative Services Manager and the Marketing and Communications team. Assisting with the management across the company’s social media channels, with customized content for each of them. Creation, measuring, and optimization of the social media content performance and communicating back to the team on the results. Supporting internal and external communications campaigns, such as HTML newsletters and email campaigns through third-party tools. Publishing internal articles on the intranet and office digital signage through content management systems. Assist in maintenance and improvement of an intranet platform.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program for Marketing Communication, Digital Marketing or closely related major.
- A minimum of Junior standing needs to be attained.
- Overall GPA of 3.00 and above must be maintained.
- Must have relevant coursework, business-writing experience is a plus.
Skills and Abilities

- Computer savvy, with experience in business applications.
