Overview
An Information Technology Associate would join the Information Systems Division (ISD) of DMV exciting and swarm prospects. This opportunity will involve contributions to work that will modernize DMV legacy systems and increase the digital user experience.
Job Description
Under the general supervision of the IT Manager I, the IT Associate will belong to the Industry Services Group working with the IT programmers, analysts, testers, and managers. The IT Associate is responsible for software development, system engineering, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality IT services regarding programming methodologies for product management and structured programming.
Main Duties
- Develop, modify, and maintain software applications.
- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of systems in partnership with other IT teams. Troubleshoot production defects and resolve technical issues.
- Design, develop, and maintain documentation, hierarchical diagrams, and charts related to programs.
- Conduct analysis of specific business areas in detail and design complex systems according to user needs.
- Work within a highly collaborative team, which is co-operative and focused on achieving goals.
- Work on modernizing the digital platforms and services of DMV.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in software engineering and/or system development and/or product management.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, JSP, cloud computing, etc.
- Well versed with structured programming methodologies.
- Excellent skills in problem definition and solving and time management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related area (preferred).
