Overview of the Position
We are looking for an ambitious content writer who remote. With close supervision of the VP of Content, you will create high-quality, search engine-optimized blogs that drive signups to trials and converts them into actual customers.
Responsibility
- Research and write 2-3 effective, actionable, and conversion-oriented blogs every week.
- Capture and edit blog-associated screenshots as needed.
- Optimize all the contents for powerful search engine rankings and discoverability.
- Do full competitor research to create true and compelling comparison for features and benefits of Groove.
- Keep monitoring search engine rankings and updating existing content to improve performance, when needed.
Requirments
- Experience: Minimum of two years experience in full-time or freelance writing
- Conversion-Centric: Must have proven ability to write copy that gets converted but not purely traffic-oriented copy as well as the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of the copy.
- SEO Savvy: Should know how to research and implement keywords in an intent search without stuffing the keyword. Should have experience in optimizing already on-hire content for better ranking.
- . Image Editing: Basic of screenshot taking, resizing, and cropping for purposes of content image.
- Time Management: Excellent multitasking, meeting deadlines, and focused while working.
- Bonus: A former background in customer service brings at least a number of years of experience working in the customer support industry.
- Former experience in freelancing or working remote.
Advantages
Competitive annual salary of $40,000-$50,000.
This is a fully remote position that has flexible hours and meetings few or none.
