Academic Year in America (AYA) is looking for enthusiastic people to join our team as International Education Coordinators (Local Coordinators). This part-time, contractual position suits candidates who enjoy networking and working with students and establishing meaningful relationships in their communities.

What You Will Do
Recruitment and Community Engagement
- Promote AYA´s program through outreach and local networking.
- Build relationships within the school to place students.
- Recruiting and screening qualified host families.
Student and Host Family Support
- Conduct check-ins with students and host families together with monthly check-ins to ensure their well-being.
- Logistical, emotional, and social support for participants.
- Resolve conflicts and establish resolution mechanisms in case of conflict.
Administrative and Emergency Support
- Set up temporary accommodation for students in case of emergencies.
- Evening or weekend work may be required, depending upon student arrival dates. Always put your paperwork in order and provide reports.
What We Are Looking For
- Diverse individuals are welcome regardless of background; those who worked in marketing, education, social works, international relations, etc. would be preferred.
- Strong community-building and networking skills.
- A feeling for both teenagers and adults.
- Comfort with using social media and online tools for promotions and reporting.
- Wlillingness to commit 10 to 15 hours per week (including some evenings and weekends).
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be 25 years or older.
