Position Summary
The Condo Approval Production Assistant will play an essential role in successfully providing support to the loan origination team through managing requests and processing of condominium documents. You will be responsible for receiving communications from customers; loan officers; escrow agents, title companies, and HOA/property managers regarding the condo approval process.
Essential Functions
- Interact effectively with customers, loan officers and the team for condo approval.
- Initiate and process PUD documents such as HOA Questionnaires, HOA insurance and HOA Budgets.
- Review and prepare condominium documentation for approval.
- Include pay transactions on the credit card of the company or request checks from the accountant.
- Track and update pending condo documentation request through Project Tracker and Encompass loan system
- Make follow-ups with HOAs and ensure all required documents are submitted for final review.
- Maintain the status of document review and make all parties aware of it.
What We Are Looking For
- FHA, VA, and Conventional condo evaluation processes?
- Knowledge of mortgage compliance requirement such as TILA, RESPA and HMDA.
- Good communication and excellent organizational skills.
- 2+ years of experience collecting condo documents/analyzing condo projects/related processes.
- Experience with Encompass or a mortgage origination system.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
